FIESA Sand Sculptures 2016

Opens on 10th march. FIESA is a mega exhibition of sand sculptures held since 2003 in Pêra, Algarve, that in each new edition is dedicated to a different theme. FIESA is considered the largest event of its kind in the world and unique in the Iberian Peninsula, as it uses forty thousand tons of sand, which are carved annually by fifty artists, national and international, covering a construction area of 15,000 m2, with sculptures that reach twelve feet tall. It can be visited day or night when the sculptures are illuminated by lights games. Music is the theme of this Festival, which will feature in sand, scenes representative of its expression in various ethical groups, their evolution and various genres, this year with DAVID BOWIE. FIESA also incorporates a playful dimension with a space for sand sculpture activities, where each day, adults, teens and children can experience and show their creative abilities in this form of artistic expression.
Transport from Tavira, Monte gordo,    only on Thursdays.
Transport from Olhao, Faro and Quinta do Lago,  only on Wedsnesdays
Transport from Lagos and Praia da Luz              only on Wednesdays.

Children Discounts     
Children up to 2 years old are free of charge (excluding meals and transport).
Children between 3 and 10 years old, are entitled to 50% discount off adult price.


As from the 15th of September the Park closes at 20h00

Excursion Informations:
ADULT & CHILDREN AGE on motorcoach Tours
Adult age, from 11 years onwards. Children age, between 3 and 10 years old, pay 50% of adult price.and are entitled to a seat on the motorcoach. Children age, up to 2 years old, are free of charge, but are not entitled to a seat. An infant to be entitled to a seat, must pay Child price. On motorcoach tours, booster seats or baby carrycots are not mandatory and are not provided. The traveller must have their own child seat or booster to use.

HALF DAY Tour
Half day tour (4 hours + 2 hrs for pickup and drop-off)
PICK-UP and DROP-OFF available as supplement.
PICK-UP and DROP-OFF are not included in price of the tour, but can be booked as a supplemment online.
